All of these were taken at Union Square in San Francisco. This is the major high-end shopping district, although its typical clientele is tourists and out-of-towners, especially on weekends. There are images of what a happy consumer should look like everywhere, so I was wondering, 'what do actual shoppers look like?' A survey of sorts, but a self-selected and arbitrary pool.
